Part of a Bigger Plan is an Amsterdam-based creative studio that creates and produces award-winning communications for international clients. We take pride in crafting concepts and branding that incorporate the disciplines of graphic design, illustration, art and film direction. We have created numerous award-winning campaigns and films for international brands. We work closely with our clients to realize their ideas, transforming intangible concepts into real experiences that share a story. We bring together the right talent and skills necessary for each project, calling upon the best and brightest to create exclusive campaigns as efficiently as possible. Our projects have won numerous awards, including a Grand Prix at Cannes, 3 D&AD awards (one of which was the coveted Yellow Pencil), The Dutch Design Awards esteemed Golden Eye, which celebrates the industry’s pursuit of excellence and is only awarded to work universally recognized as the ‘best of the best, and several ADCN lamps – on one memorable evening we took home seven.

Christian Borstlap founded Part of a Bigger Plan in 2011. He is a critically acclaimed art director, designer, illustrator and film maker. He first made his name as an illustrator at Wallpaper* in the UK. His unique ability to translate complex concepts into engaging stories saw him rise quickly through the ranks at renowned agencies, including FHV/BBDO and KesselsKramer. Christian is a contributor to LVMH’s digital platform NOWNESS.
