Ruling the Waves

In a digital era, Part of a Bigger Plan is not afraid to take back the beauty of true craftsmanship. When Louis Vuitton, official timekeeper for the 34th America’s Cup, turned to us to convey their relationship with the world of sailing, we decided to combine authentic artistry with contemporary animation techniques. The result is a 90-second soft sliding yachting competition in which handcrafted ink illustrations are washed away by 40 litres of Amsterdam tap water. Poetic yet concise. Here’s our online commercial accompanied by Breath Owl Breath’s alluring track “Swimming”.
