Rijksmuseum TEFAF art Fair
For the prestigious TEFAF Art Fair 2014, Part of a Bigger Plan was invited to design a stand for the Rijksmuseum which would showcase a lesser known but no less important part of its collection. The world-famous museum is renowned more for its Old Masters than its photography so we decided to develop a huge photo wall, displaying a hand-picked selection of 1,800 black-and-white photographs from the museum's archives. We organised them by lightness and darkness to form a gradient running from left to right – and met our brief of showing the Rijksmuseum in a different light. In collaboration with Irma Boom Office.
