Commissioned by Zwaan Printmedia to design a calendar unlike any other, Part of a Bigger Plan came up with a suitably original concept for this environmentally-friendly, family-run printing business that specialises in extraordinary ‘print productions’. Based around the idea that ‘some people live by the day, some people like to look ahead’, we decided all 365 days of the year should be on self-stick notes. This would allow people to peel off the notes and rearrange them as they wished. The tall-format calendar – with a 1960s retro feel – was presented in an exquisite slip-on, slip-off box and finished with a thin paper ‘cover’ with a simple illustration explaining this noteworthy idea. Watching time fly has never been so beautiful.
